2022 Jenna DeAngelis Memorial Tournament
In Jenna's memory, all the uniforms that current Gems players wear, bear her #7 on their left sleeve. The Diamond Gems will host the Second Annual Jenna DeAngelis Memorial Tournament in May (10U/12U), June (14U) and August (16U/18U) of 2022 in her honor with donations being made to The Angel Fund for ALS Research and to the Concussion Legacy Fund, a non-profit organization that Jenna's family has donated her brain to in an effort to further research traumatic brain injury and CTE.
Commemorative Tournament T-Shirts and Hooded Sweatshirts will be pre-sold ONLINE ONLY. The cutoff date for ordering is FRIDAY, JULY 29th at 3:00 PM. Shirt orders will be bagged by team and available for pick up on Saturday at your assigned field locations. *Please park in the lot across the street between the soccer fields. Coaches/Players may park on Orchard Dr. but only one side of the street and OFF the pavement.
Please remember that this is a memorial tournament for our beloved Jenna DeAngelis. We will NOT tolerate unsportsmanlike behavior from coaches, players or spectators. If any player, coach or parent is thrown out of a game, they cannot return to the team, bench area or spectators area for the rest of the tournament. PERIOD.
